Ruth A. Hall, Attorney
Ruth joins Alfano Law with a background in litigation: both criminal defense work and civil litigation of all types, including business litigation, personal injury, employment law, probate litigation, and small business representation. She enjoys the court presentation process, especially conducting jury trials. With more than 37 years of experience she has argued in nine of the ten superior courts and most district and probate courts across the state. Her experience includes federal trial and appeal work as a member of the Federal District Court for the District of New Hampshire and the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston.
In addition to her legal career, Ruth has served as President of her local Unitarian Universalist church, been elected to her town’s budget committee, been active in local politics, run a foster family group home, and traveled to the southwest in a dilapidated RV with two dogs and her tropical birds. She loves reading and writing, especially science fiction. On her bucket list is engaging in constitutional law arguments – which she has only been privileged to do once in a Massachusetts family law court.
